様々な出自のメンバーにより結成され、一切の取り決めのない集団即興演奏による活動を展開していた「タージ・マハル旅行団」は、1971年からヨーロッパ各地で多数のコンサートやフェスティバルに参加した。このツアーの後、主要なメンバーはワゴン車に乗ってタージ・マハルまでの 「旅」に出た。本DVDは一年弱に渡って海外に滞在した彼らの姿をロード・ムービーとして捉た貴重なドキュメント映像である。

Notes: After world tour of TMT in 1971, they started travel toward Taj-Mahal temple in India. This film is legendary documentary of the road. Also it's directed by Matsuo Ono (his name is well-known as electronic music composer of "Astro Boy" collaborated with Kosugi). Toru Takemitsu, Stomu Yamashita and Don Cherry enter on a part of film.
